Timken HA590161 Rear Wheel Hub and Bearing

Installed on my 2005 mini cooper s June built. Shipping was super fast for me. Yes there are much cheaper brands out there but This was “Mod Mini” recommended brand as good. Plus I was happy to find “made in Korea” stamp. Hope it last as long as my oem did.Fit was almost perfect except the bolt holding my rotor wouldn't go in smooth and really needed to be force it in, well over recommended torque.

Had a bad vibration and "droning" sound coming from my right rear, and knew it was the bearing. I bought the Timken because I read a lot about the quality of their parts and I am not disappointed. The bearing fit perfectly on my 2004 Mini Cooper S (R53).Note: If you have a brake caliper piston kit, this is a pretty easy install because it's just 4 bolts, but you have to remove the rotor and caliper. And you can't just push the piston back in to put the brakes back together (it has to rotate).

My lug nuts didn't fit, holes were too small. It's not the right part for a 09 Mini Cooper S!
