HX-50BI makes hexagonal crimp profiles on SB50/PP75, SB120/PP120, SB175/PP180 connectors. If indent crimps are needed, please go to IWS-50AP crimper.

Was going to return back to Amazon

Initial few crimps on #4 wire came out very ugly (with wings) so I was going to get a hydraulic tool till I realized how much trouble I'm asking for. Decided to keep this one and learned really quick that the issue was with the clamp itself (and the user). For some reason clamps I got (although correct number), where a bit oversized causing the wing issue due to excessive material around wire. Using better quality terminals eliminated the issue. The pair of cutters is awesome.I'm keeping this tool and happy I will not have to put up with leaking hydraulic fluid :)

Not a replacement for a hydraulic crimper

This crimper worked great on the copper 2 AWG terminals. However it isn't strong enough for the ferule fitting needed for 2 AWG Anderson type powerpole connections.The cable cutter it came with is great! Just a light touch and it easily scored the cable cover for stripping the wire.
