Vijiv Vintage 1920s Gatsby Sequin Beaded Lace Cocktail Party Flapper Dress with Sleeves

I’m 5’4, 135lbs. I ordered a small and it fits perfectly. Not too tight, not too loose. This dress is so cute and feels like it’s worth more than it costs. I wore this for a Great Gatsby themed wedding but I plan on wearing it again!

GREAT DRESS (size Medium)~ thank you to everyone who provided good details as I will attempt to do...I am 5'5, 142 lbs and normally wear a size 8 or 10 dress depending on how "form fitting" it is. I do not normally like a dress that hugs my thighs, but this dress was so pretty and made me feel good.I did wear a spanx which helped in my case. The length was perfect at just above the knee and the short sleeves were long enough to cover that jiggly upper arm. I received so many compliments on this dress and I would highly recommend it. It was not scratchy, had a great lining, and even a small slit on the right side. Wore it for a NIGHT IN NAPA semi-formal and it was a beautiful hit, especially under the dance floor soft lights! This is my second time ordering online which is so risky for size, but this was perfect!

I wore this dress to my jobs Gala and I received so many compliments on it. I wear a size 12 and ordered the large. The fit was true to size and the material did stretch a tad. If you are between sizes 12/14, I would recommend purchasing the XL. The length was perfect, I'm 5'0 and the dress stopped maybe an inch below my knee. I would definitely purchase again in another color.

I am 5'6" 155 lbs and I got a large. It fits excellent!! I am impressed with the quality for the price. It's a very soft material. The arms are stretchy lace which makes it so comfortable!! Beautiful color!! Highly recommend!!

Gorgeous dress!! Came on time and packaged well. The reviews are true, it does run a bit big and has some stretch room to it as well. It is very well made. Can not believe the price because it is absolutely beautiful!! Please do order at least 1 size smaller than your usual size. Im usually a 16 and ordered the xl. I could have done lg for better fit. You're gonna love this dress!!! Ps I ordered this on my bfs account. I'm not a guy! Lol!!

This dress is gorgeous!!! The beading it is so much better than I expected. The black is a true jet black which I love. I am 5’2”” tall and weigh 135 I got the large which fits well! The shoulders are a tad bit big but everything else fits so well and so comfortable! I love it!!! I would have paid so much more for this dress I like it so much!!

Beautiful dress that fits true to size. I am about a size 10 and a large fit me perfectly. The dress is heavier than expected and feels very well made with the beading stitched on well. I would love to keep this dress if it were not for the side slit. It opens revealing too much leg and the attached slip bulges out a bit. I have had dresses before with a leg slit and they would only open when walking but this one stays open consistently. I would question that this is due to the dress being too tight but the dress fits perfectly otherwise and believe that if I went up a size to maybe fix the side slit problem, the dress would fit too loosely. I would sew it up myself but with the beaded stitching, I am afraid I would do more harm than good. Maybe it’s just my big hips!Overall love the dress and sad to have to return it.

Most reviews I read were pretty accurate. The fit was good and the quality was outstanding for the price. I bought the dress to wear to my sons (evening) wedding but even if I change my mind the dress is a keeper! I can always use it for a cocktail party or dinner. You can't beat the quality for the price!

I am a curvy size 14 and the dress (XL) fit perfectly, slightly form fitting while still leaving room to breathe. I used the dress to officiate a wedding that was Gatsby theme, it fit in perfectly and I was surprised by the quality. It is not a flimsy garment, sequins nicely stitched in place, quality lining that doesn't leave you see through, enough structure to hold me in place. Honestly, it doesn't seem 'costumey' at all and I will definitely re-use!

I was so terribly sad that I had to return this dress because it is beautiful. At the time they just did not have the best size for me. The fabric was substantial. The workmanship is excellent. It seems to run a tad small I usually am comfortable in an XL but this was a tad tight I need to move up to XXL but they did not have it. I am constantly checking back to see if it comes in XXL I will buy when it does

A beautiful dress! I wanted something to wear to an Evening cocktail wedding and this was perfect! Its lined and nicely made. I ordered a large. I usually wear between a size 10 and 12. Normally formal dresses seem to fit smaller...this fit per fit! I'm 5.2inches and it came just under my knee. I wear a size 38C bra and I weigh 145lbs. Large was perfect! Not too loose, not too tight. You wont regret buying this dress. The blue is absolutely beautiful!

The Amazon Prime delivery man was concerned about the box having residue on it. He requested I open it up with him present in case I need to stat send it back. It appeared okay when opened. When I pulled out the dress and put it one, it was very tight. I didn't realize it had a slit in the side either. That is when I noticed I had black all over my hands. It appeared to be dye. It came off my hands with soap and water but I had touched my yellow walls. After several attempts, the dye came off with rubbing alcohol. I washed the dress and hung dry. The ink appears to be gone at this time. I really like the dress but perhaps a size bigger would made it longer? Sitting down, I am "giving it away for free". May have to put a few stitches in that slit to make it more respectable.

Really nice dress. Didn't realize there was a split on the thigh! Only thing is say it's the dress did leave a mess on the floor with fibers and sequins. Other than that it was really comfortable and I can use it for many affairs. For reference I'm 185 pds and 5'4 and I got the large

Ordered 3 days before a big event. Fit perfectly. Well made for the price. Fitted but not tight. Great dress, will definitely use again. I’m 5-6 and about 130 lbs and curvy and ordered a medium. It was perfect. I did not even need to wear shapewear with it. I bought the black dress. Very classy. I do wonder if the colored dresses might not look as classy, might look more synthetic. The dress does have about a 6 inch slit on the right side, so when you sit down, it goes pretty far up your thigh. Highly recommend.
