STEM toy. Super fun. Ease of use. Best toy of 3 y.o. birthday!!
I ordered my son about 6 gifts for his birthday, 3 of them being RC type toys. This was the only toy that worked straight from the box, and it was the cheaper of the 3. My son turned 3 about a week ago and has played with this hours a day. I'm surprised with how long the batteries lasted. They just died after 5 days of CONSTANT PLAY. He would be on his tablet, with the controller in his hand, driving the vehicle around the house and not even paying attention to it.. he just didn't wanna drop it! We've changed it daily into the 3 different styles. It's very simple, but he does need my help to sturdy the screw driver, BUT he can turn it and put them in alone. I made the decision to not show him it's a drill as well, because it's easier to just keep the battery back in the vehicle base and use the hand held handle included. I would buy this toy over and over. My 4 year old, almost 5 year old also loves this toy, too.BTW: We bought the Megalodon Monster Jam truck, didn't work out of the box. Sending back. And we purchased an RC boat for our pool and small pond, and didn't work. So this was definitely the golden toy of the day! Thank you for such a great toy with ease of use for tiny hands. I enjoy that it's educational, as well as tons of fun. Great job.

Neat and ingenious little toy
Fun creative toy for your little builder. My hat is off to whoever conceived and designed this toy. Comes with a neat assortment of accessories and swappable parts such as different truck backs (dump truck, cement mixer, or crane). The motorized unit works as a powered screwdriver (straight shaft or drill style) or as the power unit for the vehicle. A manual screwdriver handle is also included so you can leave the power unit in the vehicle chassis full time. As a bonus, the base truck bed has studs compatible with Duplo/Lego building blocks for even more creativity. We got it for our 3 1/2 year old and while she has enjoyed it, her tool alignment skills and patience are not quite ready for extended periods of using a screwdriver. She really enjoys working on the toy with a parent though. I would say this would be great for a four year old.Two minor nits: The vehicle does not steer; it only goes in a straight line. Also, all the screws have a small plastic protrusion in the threads that I think is intended to create extra friction so the screws won't come out unexpectedly. However, the protrusions are too big and make the screws require too much effort to turn for our little one -- and they stall the motor when you use it for the power screwdriver. I cut them all off with an x-acto knife which was straightforward but a bit tedious and perilous for my fingers.

Pros and cons
I would like to start by saying thank you for the thank you card! My son and I love the toy and my son still plays with it all the time! He just got introduced to Transformers which revived his interest in the toy since it can be changed from one truck to another. Seeing as how this is one of the most played with toys my son has ever had, and since I've never received a thank you card from a small business before, I feel it is only necessary for me to give you a very sincere and honest review. I hope that my criticism helps you to learn and grow as a company and I wish the best for you! I'll start with the positives.Pros: The overall concept of this toy is absolutely wonderful! It is the perfect difficultly level for my son who just turned 4! It is not too difficult to where he gets extremely frustrated, but it also has enough parts that it keeps him thinking. Some parts have to be put together in a specific order which is great for his motor skills and understanding, but it also blew his mind when I turned the crane around and called it a tow-truck! (He loves tow-trucks too!) He loves to use his imagination and pretend that something is wrong with the truck and that he is the mechanic for the job! I also love that it is very interactive! My son loves his Dada and always wants to help with all my projects that are much more dangerous and some are even too dangerous for me to allow him to help, so this is the perfect opportunity to reverse rolls. He enjoys being in charge and deciding who gets specific jobs and it is a great toy for bonding! Unfortunately, I do have a couple cons though and they both have to do with the motor/controller functions.Cons: I really like that you can remove the motor and transfer it to the controller to use as a drill and my son loves it as well, but it was pretty disappointing when used as the motor in the truck for a couple reasons. The first is lack of power. It doesn't necessarily need to go extremely fast, but it can't even get over the tiniest bumps which really limits the travel range. In addition to that, the switch on the motor can only face down so when you do attempt to go over a bump, guess what happens? Yup, it flips the switch! My last issue with this is that it doesn't turn, which again, limits the abilities of what you can do with this toy. It was so sad because my son would get so excited about the truck when he would put it together and have it all ready to go, and then you would see his excitement slowly fade away once he tries to control it to go somewhere...Well there it is. My overall opinion is that it is an amazing toy and concept, but I feel that it could be so much more if it had more capabilities as a remote control. That alone was the only reason I didn't purchase one of the other models. Maybe even make more advanced levels that have controls to dump the truck or operate the crane! My son is very curious when it comes to moving equipment, and if it can move, he wants to move it! I hope that this was a helpful review and I thank you again for the incredible toy. I would absolutely will, and have recommended it to more than a few friends.

Twins can't stop playing with these!
PROS: Twin boys, aged 3 love these toys. We bought all three (Fire Truck, Police Car, Construction Truck). The Fire Truck and Construction Truck both convert to 3 different types of vehicles while the Police Car converts to two. My eldest, 7yo girl, also likes this toy, but the boys can't get enough. They will pull it apart, use the drill, race the cars, etc.CONS: I will say that I needed to help put the vehicles together for the 3 yos. And the remote occasionally hiccups and sends its signal to the wrong vehicle. This shouldn't be an issue if you are only buying one toy. I've already mixed up the screws and such since we have 3 sets. This is not an issue for us but could be if you only have the one toy.Note: The Police Car originally was missing the roof but we were able to exchange it and the process was totally painless.TLDR from my experience: Hours of fun for ages 3-7 boys and girls, more so for the 3yo boys. Be prepared to help build if you have younger kids but otherwise super easy for littles to take apart. If you buy more than one and the remote gets confused, no worries, it will eventually re-calibrate and correct. Also, it goes without saying that small pieces may be misplaced by kiddos. Return if needed was done through amazon and super easy. All in all, worth the price.
