The pedal works fine as long as you're using it exclusively as a pedal. If you're going to download loops to a computer it works. However, if you want to do anything else using the software that's provided, good luck. I've tried it on different pedals (Donner, Rowin, Hoorev Etc.) They all use the same software. It seems that if everytime I updated a pedal, delete a track using the software or try import files it would immediately brick it! No light no response when updated from any power source USB or plugged. When deleting tracks it causes the pedal to register "song001 - Empty." which doesnt allow you to import or record anything after, it lights up, but doesn't work. FIX THE SOFTWARE!!!!!!!! Also this pedal differed from the others in that it did make a weird screeching sound once. I wasn't able to replicate it again.

I won't be using the software as this will be used as a pedal and not as a sampler. Functions as advertised and is surprisingly hefty, metal, and solid. If I like something I looped, I will just play the same thing again during a recording session on the computer as I don't really want to disconnect the pedal from the board to hook it into the computer, but knowing the option is there is nice. Some reviews said that the software bricks the pedal, so I just decided for 30 dollars I don't really care about downloading/uploading loops to/from this thing and won't even try lol. Just get a drum machine or use a computer if you need that.

So look, I know I am a bit of a newbee here, but mine was all over the place weird when I first unboxed it. I finally did a firmware upgrade via a non existent web site (very sketchy) and it seems to work alright. I admit I was not expecting much, though I expected more. A simple looper. It's still touchy and ease of use was primary concern. It does work but you might spend some time working with it as I did to get a reasonable working item.

I’m not good enough at the guitar to justify spending tons of money on equipment, but the idea of looping my own songs sounded like something I wanted to give a try. I went low end and found this pedal. It is tricky to get the hang of, but it does get the job done. There is only the one button to control the loops, so erasing and layering loops can be frustrating. I’m not big into recording, and won’t be booking any gigs anytime soon, but this thing is fun to mess around with in the basement. Worth the money, I just wish it was a little easier to control.

I was hoping this would be promising. It works for the first minute or so, then strange things will happen like it will stop looping on its own and won't record or play anything when pressing the switch. Unplugging and replugging sometimes works, but it will only work for 2 minutes at most until it fails again. Disappointed.

Looper does its job perfectly - the sound of the guitar is preserved and transmitted without noise and interference. To connect to a computer you need a loopsuite program, which I downloaded from the Internet. Only WAV files can be written.

Others might have more feature and do more, but this was within my budget and does the basic job that I wanted.

Occasional random horrible screeching sound while in playback. Have to unplug the pedal, but works fine after this.

Worked great a first, now it just makes a high pitch squealing sound, had given it 5 stars rating. I used for only about 2 hours total over the last month before it started making that noise.Contacted the seller, they refunded my money. Then I got a new one and it works perfectly. I have used it for over 2 months and I jam with it daily as a practice tool. Great little pedal, I love it.
