Awesome. 10y old HD 518 look & feel like new.
I should have take a before photo ... it was pretty sad; they went downhill fast in the past couple years. These replacements were incredibly easy to install: I was not expecting that. They came with some flat oval foam that looks like it was designed to go inside over the drivers, but there was none there currently, so I didn't put it in. Was there originally foam that I removed some time in the last 10y? I don't know. They fit great, look great, and feel great. The sound is unchanged, as expected. After this experience I splurged on the headband pad from the same manufacturer. It requires a little care if you want it straight. It's also great.

8/10 replacement read below
was able to use the replacement no problem the thin piece of foam was not usable and not able to be used in conjunction. that said the feel is nice, not a bad replacement.

Firm, Comfortable, 2.5 year lifespan
I bought these in July 2022 and in December 2024, after 2.5 years of daily use, one seam split open and the inner foam became exposed. For $15 that seems pretty reasonable, although not as durable as the original ear pads.Overall I would say these ear pads are quite comfortable, though maybe a little more firm than the originals. The texture is pleasant and it never felt hot or irritating against my skin. The description says "memory foam" and I disagree with that. It's just standard density foam, similar to egg crate foam.

Fits 559 headphones
Fit my sennheiser 559 perfectly, nice firm padding and material matches factory cushions. Headphones are like new again!

Good replacement for OEM ear pads
I replaced the OEM pads on my HD558s that were falling apart and these did the job. I'm glad to have a velour option because I hate the vinyl and pleather pads. The foam hasn't started to get squishy yet. They're not as nice as the OEM pads but also they're half the price, if you can even get the OEM ones.

Pure trash that doesn't even fit on
I got these for my HD560s, I've bought other replacements from other brands multiple times and this brand specially is pure trash. They will not clip or fit on HD560s, I know it can be annoying to put them on in the first place but these flat out don't clip in. There's nothing for it to even grab on to for both pads, and again I have othe replacements, and even the original stock one, and I can put them on just fine. I spent half an hour trying to force them to clip on in any way possible with no luck. The cheap quality and misaligned size and ring for it shows this is just another chinese cheap waste product. On top of that the fabric looks nothing like the picture, its super scratchy, and super thin, it's almost like a toy copy of a real product.

Comfy and easy to install!
Worked perfectly and snapped into place. I love that they included a little tool to assist with taking off the old ear pads. They're comfortable and look great! Excellent value

Half the price of the official part, but they last only a fraction of the time...
I bought these for some HD518s. The HD518 isn't super expensive to begin with, if I was replacing earpads on some of my higher end Sennheisers I might consider buying the more expensive official earpads. That being said, the price is right. The ear cups have an slightly smaller inner diameter, which means you might notice a difference switching to the replacements, but it isn't uncomfortable. The material is also different, and not quite as soft as the original part, but again, not uncomfortable, just not as good. Also comes with a little plastic pry tool that makes the installation a bit easier.EDIT: I have to update to take off a couple of stars. 1. The price has gone up 50% since I first bought a set. 2. Most importantly, these last only a year. To put into perspective: The original earcups lasted me 7 years (I handwashed them many many times). Seems these last about 1 year at most before part of it fails (both times the foam came out for me, and it split on the side of the earcup, and I'm very careful with my headsets as evidenced by multiple Sennheiser headsets lasting me 5-10yrs without issue.). That being said, I went ahead and bought a 3rd set to give just another year of life to my headset. Next time these "blowout", I'm replacing my headphones or maybe go with the OEM part. I really recommend the OEM over these (2x the cost upfront, but it will last you 6-7x as long, and they are more comfy). I just can't in good faith recommend these anymore due to the price hike and the short life.
