Hobonichi Techo Day-Free 2020 (JPN/Monthly/A5/Jan Start/Mon Start)

This is a more sensible version of Hobnichi for me!!! The monthly section can help to plan the day or week if needed. And without 365 days, for people like me who did not record or plan my day on paper at a daily basis, it is just right. Thin and light... most importantly, the famous quality of its paper allows me to use fountain pens. If they could put a date-free biweekly section (2 weeks on one page) for about 40 weeks, that would be grand! But for now, the monthly section would do.

It absolutely needs a cover. I don't use one and use mostly at home. After 2 months of mostly sitting at my desk, it looks like trash.The inside of the notebook though, is great, amazing paper quality and flexibility to create your own spreads. It shows fountain pen inks shades amazingly.Works great with Fountain Pens and gel pens, just slow to dry, so lot of smudges.The midliners work great but take a while to dry and the fine liners are very well behaved.For the price, I doubt I would be buying it again. But I'm glad I got to try it

Perfect for all my needs. Graph squars make it so neat and easy.

I have always loved the Hobonichi Cousin, but needed something a bit more flexible. The A5 Day Free fit the bill. It still offers the monthly calendars, but with blank pages to write whatever.

I’ve had the Hobonichi with days and thought it was too much. Ow I feel like I don’t have enough pages. Depends on how much you write I guess or how much extra storage pages you need. I liked the days bc I could journal as well. This is good for more compact version tho

Typical Hobonichi quality but I don't like the format. Not what I need in a planner.

Better then daily pages.

One of my favorite journals to write in, love the tomoe river paper and love how much freedom I have to write in here.
