Good for home karaoke
Nice set up for my daughter to play guitar and read lyrics from her phone. Mic clip works well with our wireless karaoke mics as the circumference of the mics are larger than regular wired ones. Materials are kind of light and weak but suffice. Must be careful not to over tighten knobs. Overall satisfied though.

Good stand
The stand is easy to set up and great to hold most hand held devices. I even held and iPad 10.2”. Once you snug the screws it holds up well and can be adjusted to your preference. The clamp holding the two bars is not too great. It cracked and eventually broke under normal use over about 6 months of weekly use. The seller replaced it so I’m grateful for great costumer service. So far the replacement works great and no issues with the round clamp.

I feel like I'm ready for American Idol
Excellent price and unbeatable value if you're in the market for a microphone stand. The stand is easy to assemble and comes with two microphone clips and a tablet/phone holder that makes reading karaoke lyrics while trying to hold your best note a breeze. The stand itself is made of quality metal and the clips that hold the microphone are plastic. I'm almost six feet in height and the stand easily can accommodate people that are taller or much shorter. My only caution to you is to be careful with the plastic clips, because you can accidentally over tighten them causing it to break. Once the microphone stand is assembled, it really makes you feel like you are on the big stage singing your best falsetto trying to be the next hit star. Buy one, buy a few extras, and don't forget to take a bow for not missing out on this stand that brings your karaoke setup to life. I love it, my kids love it, and it comes in handy keeping our microphones in place.By the way...the customer service for the microphone stand is 5 star. I had to reach out to them for a broken part and they responded right away. Thanks a bunch.Good luck and enjoy this stand!

Unstable cheap mic stand
The price is cheap and it shows .. Great concept with the phone holder but built very flimsy/unstable ... I guess you get what you pay for. Probably gonna send it back.

Seems to be exactly what we hoped for
Gift for a family member who described what they needed and this item had all the features, portability and a good price. It was out of the box and set up very quickly. It was demo'd for me in less than 10 minutes. No issues so far.

Light, fairly sturdy, nice
Fantastic stand for the price, a little more lightweight than I'd like, but it is sturdy enough. Great for a home studio or small gigs

Puts the ipad where it needs to be
Unlike most iPad holder/mic stands, this rig puts the iPad where it needs to be: in the singer's line of vision, rather than somewhere below the mic where you have to look around the mic to see it. The key is that the mic stand threads through the boom connection, rather than stops there. That said, I actually moved the boom onto a slightly more substantial mic stand I had with a bigger footprint for better stability. But this one will work fine as is. Even better, though, if you drop a sandbag on the base when in a crowd. Those iPads ain't cheap.Update three months after purchase: Today the clamp that holds the boom arm to the mic stand failed. By failed, I mean that the plastic part that received the tightening screw spontaneously shattered (I wasn't even in the room), and the boom arm, with my mic in the mount, crashed to the hardwood floor. Thank goodness this happened at home and not during a gig. Another copy might hold up better, but I wouldn't trust it. Apparently plastic is not up to the tension necessary to keep a mic boom arm in place for extended periods.
