I ordered a large for my 72 lb hound mix. No matter how I stretched it it would never fit.

I tried about eight different harnesses for my active chihuahua mix and this was the only one he didn't manage to slip out of. The quality is excellent, it looks awesome and it's a snap to put on and take off. It doesn't rub against his underarms and feels minimalist yet hold him quite well. It's also flexible and feels more like sports attire than a typical old harness. I liked it so much that when Lenny grew one size I bought the same model one size larger. 100% recommended for active little dogs who have a knack for slipping out of harnesses!

Size is horribly wrong! I ordered a medium for my Bichon Frise with a 16.5" chest. After putting him in it the halter is 2" short. This thing might fit a chihuahua but that's about it. I'm wondering if their chart is based on imperial inches or something else because this sure doesn't. The halter itself measures 15" d to end. WTH???

Bought medium for my 8.5 lb chihuahua. Fit perfect and he can even wear a thin sweater underneath if need be. Easy on-no struggling with straps while excited dog is hopping all over. Has strong velcro & secure plastic click lock over the velcro. Two metal loops over that to attach a leash to. I feel confident my little guy (who is also a runner) is safe & comfy in this. I bought the matching leash (both in bright orange). Nice reflecting quality for night walks too. Lightweight & breathable especially nice for our hot FL weather.

I want to return this item but am unable to find the return button It is way too small for my dog.

This is a more sturdy material than most. I bought this for my Yorkie Poo, 16 lbs., and a Large fits her perfectly. I usually go medium, but after reading the other reviews, Large was the right fit for her. I like that it has night reflectors also.

Very well made and I really like the design. I red MANY of the reviews and ordered a SMALL instead of an XTRA SMALL based on people's comments. My Pomeranian puppy weighs 3 lbs and I can't use this, way too big. I had to buy another one at a shop that fits perfectly. My dog may get up to 5.5lbs in a year or so, maybe it will fit her then, if I haven't given it away by then. The product is definitely 5 STARS, I just blew it when it came to listening to the reviews... Grrrrrrr.

this is a great vest/harness -- seems very comfy for my pooch. the color is much more fluorescent then i expected, so it's not a deep orange with grey trim but more the colors of a road-crew worker.... but that works in the evening hours. size ran a bit small, but all-in-all very satisfied

This harness was way too small. Second time a harness I've purchased online was too small. I really don't understand any company that can't get the details right. It's not that hard and doesn't require a lot of brain power.

My 10 month old Yorkie is much happier - no loops to put her head through - it wraps around instead. Nice 'V' of soft material that sits against her throat.

The size of the product does not match standard sizing. Large is too small for my 15lbs dog and extra large is too big.
