Monikers: Shmonikers

Super great expansion!My gaming group has been wanting an expansion to the base game - we've played it so often that we get nothing but repeats now, so this was a very welcome addition. Sign us up to buy any and every expansion from here on out!Also, this is the perfect size to pop in my bag when we know we'll be waiting in line for a while (movie premieres, anyone?). As this suggests, this box can be used alone, so if you aren't sure if your group will like Monikers (but it will, trust me on this), you can grab this box to try it out.

i like this game a lot more than any of my friends, but it is a pretty expensive game because you can only use each card once. if you kept using the same cards, then you would have the benefit of knowing the possible options which gives you a HUGE advantage, to the point it is not fair to play. so once i play, i band up the cards we used and then try to give them away to someone who i haven't played the game with... if the concepts were more basic, and not long silly phrases, i think this would be mitigated. a lot of my friends really do not like this game (even though they like games and charades, etc), not sure why, because i think it's pretty fun

This game doesn't get enough praise.I didn't get the original game because it was so much more expensive.I saw the original set at Target and thought I could get a better price on Amazon.I couldn't.But I saw the expansion pack (not available at my local Target) and I was intrigued.You can TOTALLY play this game without the original game and I highly recommend it.I'm hoping to catch the original set on sale one day because I really did enjoy this game now three times with friends and family.

Nice expansion to the game, but I feel it was a bit small for the price. Especially comparing it's price-to-quantity value of the original, stand-alone box. Also, I felt there was one card that made no sense. Regarding an text-based, ascii art design. Honestly, I feel better off just making my own cards and assigning points based on the groups.

Love this game...just wish it was more PG13, some of the cards are a bit too much

Nice expansion to add or bring with you if you're on a road trip and want something to do during stops. Theres only about 2-3 cards worth of games so id recommend the people already know how to play.

Already had Monikers, and purchased the expansion set. Glad I did as the expansion set cards were a lot more challenging. Definitely recommend getting it

Great content expansion for Monikers. A little small for the price compared to the base game.
