Kind Ninja is a hit!
One of our biggest rules at home is “Be Kind” and we all loved the way this book showed different ways to be kind, both directly and indirectly. Kind Ninja sat with someone who was lonely, used his manners more, and even volunteered his time to cuddle pets at the animal shelter. A great influence on my little ones!

Perfect for Kindness Week
This book was great for my 3 year old's preschool class to read for Kindness Week. My kindergartener loves all the ninja books too. They do seem to be geared towards grade school kids, but my 3 & 6 years old kids enjoy them very much. I wish that the author would do another ninja book just about helping with family chores, haha!

Printed backward
So strange. Was reading this to my little ninja for the first time tonight. The first page was blank which seemed a little odd, but then the story wasn’t quite making sense... about halfway through the story I realized that the pages made sense in reverse order. Our copy has the pages bound in reverse order. When I tried to reread the story starting from the last page to the first page and the story made sense. i’m still giving it four stars because it’s a cute story and it’s not that much of a bother to read it backwards.

We are all a work in progress
I liked that this story took an approach to share that everyone doesn’t always start as one thing but can become it later. I used this as a great example to tell my boys that today you don’t have to worry about being a certain type of person but work on becoming the person you want to be. They really love these books and they read them over and over.
