You know, I don't usually like to fallow all the trends I see online. But this one had me curious. First of all NYX rarely disappoints anyhow, so I figured I may end up liking this. I Absolutely did! I'll start off by saying, that yes, I too like a primer that makes stuff last. Usually that entails that the primer is a little "tacky" to the touch and sometimes that sacrifices the moisture, and leaves my skin feeling a little dry, sticky, or stiff after a days use. This primer does NOT do those things, and STILL delivers long lasting wear, a great hold on my makeup, and primes the skin to a great moisture level that leaves me looking soft, and still hangs onto my cosmetics for the long haul (What a trooper eh? heehee) The smell bugged some people from what I saw, I love it. I happen to think marshmallow is a very good smell. Truth be told you could have called it "Frosting" "Cream" or "Cupcake" and I woulda felt the same, it's just a sweet smell, and that's all there is too it. Marshmallow probably more defines it's grip/stick. The packaging is a bigger size, and you do not need a ton at a time, a little goes a long way, with a dispenser that works excellent (three tubes in, zero clogs or build up). I think they nailed it on this one. Highly recommend for anyone, but excellent for skin that is NOT oily and maybe even more so on the dry side. As long as this is being made, I'll always keep a tube on hand.

I really like this primer. It does a great job at blurring and filling pores. Some might dislike the slight sugary vanilla like scent (obviously they were going for marshmallow). Personally I really enjoy that part. The scent is pretty mild, but if you're super sensitive to fragrance maybe skip on this.The only con I have with this is that it's really pretty tacky feeling. I would expect that from a primer BEFORE you apply foundation, but it was still pretty tacky after (and I have worn that foundation without primer so I know it's not tacky on its own). I fixed it with setting powder, but honestly I dislike having to set with powder because it invariably makes my lines look worse. Which is why I use the primer to start with. So it feels a bit counterproductive.That said, I'm quite picky about the textures of things. Even the slightest greasiness or stickiness drives me batty. Most people might not be bothered by the slight tackiness of this. It's a really good product that does what it says.I also have sensitive skin and this didn't cause any rashes or burning. So I think it deserves 4 stars. I'd give it 4 1/2 if possible.

Package arrived quickly. Base off of the products Ive used I always have to pump alot even if people have said a pump goes a long way. Never was as moisterizing. This product one full pump really covered it for my face. I would say I have a big face to cover alot of products. ( that says enough there) I currently have estee lauder foundation which I believe if you dont moisturize your face correctly it can make your face look cakey/dry. After using for the firs time It made my face look moisturize. If need to update I will but so far not bad to use. Using alone if my face gets dry after washing helps makes it look smooth, Texture is overall creamy. Smell isnt potent to me like some reviews have stated. It smell a little but not bad just a little bit of a soft sweet scent. Also just want to point out my face is very sensitive to new products but this hasnt caused me any breakouts if that helps anyone reading this who have sensitive skin. Id say try it out

I was in the market for a new face primer to use under the rest of my makeup, and saw that this had great reviews so I decided to take the plunge! Unfortunately, I don't think this product is quite as good of a fit for me, my skin type, and the makeup that I use as I originally thought--although, it still has some perks along with what I interpreted as downsides.This product probably works better for those with dry skin, because it feels VERY moisturizing when applied. I use a moisturizer/serum/SPF before, and if I wait for those to dry, I don't notice any pilling at all. I tend to lean more towards silicone-based primers, and I will say that this does blur imperfections just as well when applied. It also smells great, but fragrance can be irritating for sensitive skin (I haven't had this problem, though!)I do have more combination/oily skin, though--so a lot of the makeup that I use for my face is intended to cater towards those problems. I noticed that when I apply foundation and concealer over this using a beauty blender, sometimes the products do not mesh well with it, and it creates a patch of separation where my bare skin pokes through. I can potentially see it jiving beter with less-matte and more hydration-based makeup, though.While I can feel the product on my skin long after application, and it continues to provide moisture, this can make my makeup more "slippery" throughout the day since my skin does produce more oils with longer wear. It makes me a bit scared that I'll scratch my face and have a streak where I rubbed the makeup off, haha. Thus, I think I will stick to primers with more longevity towards controlling oil or that have a bit more "stickiness" as opposed to moisturizing properties.

Smells amazing, feels lovely on the skin, works well as a primer for makeup application.
