Requires special tool or learn to criss cross wires
The wires need to be cris crossed in a pattern in order to fit inside these. I’ve done it by hand to install an NVR ip camera system and man it was tough. I had to create a technique to get it right through multiple trial and errors. It worked in the end and these are good quality but either get the right tool or learn to split those 8 damn ethernet wires

Work like they're supposed to!
I liked the way it worked with my existing crimper tool. The hardest part was lining up the individual wires, of course. But it was not the fault of these crimp ends. Now I don't have to throw away a nice yellow wire with a broken clip. I doubt if ones are available that have clip protective covers, but I see that you can buy these protective covers separately in packages of 100. But you have to slide them on before replacing the crimp end. So, if a clip breaks as you're pulling out a wire from a rat's nest of wires behind a cabinet, just do a little cutting and attach another one of these crimp ends and you're good as new.

Not a bad Budget Connector
I have been using these at work so far and they are not bad. I have been using them on Stranded Cat 5E at gigabit speeds with no hiccups so far after using a quarter of the pack. The only thing I could thing of is that there is a little bit to be desired on the plastic bar that pushes in to hold the cable once crimped. The pins seem to do a good job connecting. And for anyone that is used to load bars or pass-throughs, these ends are not for you, but I have no trouble with using them, I have been making cables for the last 17 years and never used anything but this style, I gave load bars a shot and it just seemed like a waste of time and pass-throughs wasted more of the wire.

Easy, works with most compressing tools.
I work with CAT5-E and CAT6 for a living and these work great. I can slide the pairs in easy and crimp them no problem with most compressing tools. The best feature, the internal guides to help make it easy. 100% better than the accessory guide you have to slide on before the actual connector. This bypasses the need for that extra step.

Clear connector with good clip.
These are as good or better than any RJ45 connectors I've ever purchased. They seem to have a better snap that clicks into the female connector than connectors I've purchased in the past. Clear enough to verify wire colors are in proper order prior to crimping.

they work
I bough a bag of these to keep in my network tool box as I was running low. these connectors seem to work just fine. I have had no issues with contacts they seem to crimp down well. thus far i am very happy with these and will buy them again as i need more

Six months later... disapointment
These seemed okay at first but now many of the retaining clips are breaking off. Compared to more expensive RJ45 connectors we use at work you can feel the difference in the thickness and spring tension of the clips.I thought I'd be okay at home as I didn't plan to make a lot of changes in my home network but this weekend after improving my cabling runs and pulling them through newly installed conduit I found a number of the clips on these connectors broke off as I unplugged them from my switch at the start of this project. In my home environment that isn't a big deal as I'll just crimp on new ones and hope not to unplug my cables from the patch panel ever again. However if I had the opportunity to make this purchase again I'd look to better quality connectors. With the clips broken off I could cut off the connectors and be more aggressive re-running my cabling so I guess that is a positive? In a work environment I'd be hesitant to use these unless you know you can terminate and plug them in once and never touch them again.
