You push the circle end in for gas. It’s like this; the long handle with the grip goes in your palm and you push that hole thing in for brake. While holding that, your thumb goes on the rod with the circle metal end on it. You press in on that with your thumb for gas.

Q: Can the gas attachment be used with a gas pedal that's attached to a car at both the bottom and top? (2013 Hyundai Elantra)

I looked up pictures and I don't see why it would not work. When putting it on you might need to remove the wing nuts all the way to slip it behind but this is no big deal at all. Good luck. You can always return if it doesn't work.

Conflicting answers so let me elaborate: You CANNOT drive the car as normally intended without removing this device however as others have said, there is nothing that would keep an able driver from using the device just as the handicapped driver does. Using this device is much more intuitive than most might think and after just a fgew short trips to get used to it I havent had an issue since.

Q: Does this work with a 2011 Subaru Forrester?

I haven't yet found a car that it won't work for. My son has a 2008, and as long as there's an inch or so under the pedal to attach it, it works fine.
