Q: How thick are these files? Do they have foam in the middle?

1/8th of an inch think. Middle doesn’t look like foam, just a solid fill. To me, this grit (200/320) is the best for routine nail maintenance.

Q: How many files in a set?

It has several options, I bought the 5 piece set, but you can buy 1, or they had an option of 25.

Q: I have other files that say Soft Touch on them but font on product is different; how do I know if they are from the same manufacturer?

The file that I received was pink and does have a soft touch. I am happy with it.

Q: The soft touch i get from sally beauty shows soft touch in white print on the 280 side. or are these as pictured above?

These say "SOFT TOUCH DISINFECTABLE 280/320 " in a dark pink print. Hope this helps. I personally love these, and they last a long time.
