The oil is Palestinian. Very little of this oil gets into consumers outside of Palestine due to: not all that much is made, and there are marketing problems because it is Palestinian. Olives for this oil are usually picked by hand on family farms and the mills are noteworthy for only accepting top grade of olives, and for using modern milling methods. I am hoping the the marketing problems would get solved and more of this oil would come to the United States. Maybe the price would come down a little bit and people in the U.S. would get an idea of what true quality olive oil is like.

My second favorite olive oil. My favorite is the Nabali olive oil.
