Solid 1080p/1440p GPU – cool, quiet, and efficient
Bought the ASUS RTX 4060 DUAL EVO OC from Currys and couldn’t be happier. It’s compact, runs whisper-quiet, and delivers excellent performance for 1080p and even 1440p gaming with DLSS 3.Temperatures stay cool under load (rarely above 60°C), and the dual-fan setup is efficient without adding noise. The factory overclock is a nice bonus, and the card sips power – perfect for smaller or low-wattage systems. It chews through titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Warzone, and Spider-Man with ease when using DLSS. Ray tracing performance is surprisingly decent at this tier, especially when paired with Frame Generation. If you want a no-nonsense, future-proof GPU for mid-range gaming builds, this is a killer option. Great value – especially if picked up at a discount from Currys

Terrific Upgrade
A fantastic new video card for my PC it replaced a GT1660TI that was about 4 and 1/2 years old and the performance increase is so much. I’m very pleased with the price as well. Some points of note it’s a much bigger card than the 1660 TI even though it’s still got two fans it runs virtually silently and I’m getting incredible frame rates at 2K resolution. I wouldn’t know what it’s like at 4K because my monitor doesn’t go that high but everything is silky smooth compared to the 1660ti so I would thoroughly recommend as a very good cost upgrade for anybody who is going from something like a 1080 or 1660 TI so 10/10 so far. I’ve registered it on the ASUS website and they gave me a three year warranty so overall I’m very pleased and it’s increased is price now by £15 from when I bought it so yeah all good. Will update this review in a few months time.

A superb, brilliant value GPU!
I bought this for AI work (LLM's, Data modelling, ComfyUI, SwarmUI, etc) and it has been fantastic. It's been churning away quietly from dawn to dusk most days for the last six months and hasn't let me down. It can work with full versions of Flux, WAN, Hunyuan, etc without too much of a struggle. I really fell on my feet when I ordered this. A brilliant card for the money. Highly recommended.

Amazing card
Came in as expected, Installation was straight forward and the card is working as expected, This is a huge upgrade from my older RTX 3050, The card looks really nice in non-rgb builds and even with some RGB the card still stands out and looks amazing, Wish it had 16gb of VRAM but 8 is still decent and will do everything you'd want it to do, Highly recommend and the power consumption also is amazing

Excellent Performance for the Price!
The ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 12G DUAL V2 OC is a fantastic GPU for the price. It handles all my games smoothly at high settings, and with 12GB of VRAM, it’s future-proof for new releases. The dual-fan design keeps it cool and quiet, even during intense gaming sessions, and the 1867MHz clock speed is great for boosting performance. Installation was simple, and it’s compact enough to fit most cases. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a powerful, reliable upgrade without breaking the bank!

Improvement over gtx 970 and really quiet.
I was a little disappointed at first when I ran some benchmarks using Unigine Valley to compare to my old GTX 970, and the results came out similar or worse. But when I tried it out in Superposition, the results were much better. According to the internet, different bits and bobs that I can't remember may not be optimised for older software or something. Either way, it was an improvement.Using other software I can see it's got the 12gigs or vram (good to know), which is what I was most after to use for various AI based software that I'm beginning to use for image generation etc.I've only loaded up a few games since installing this and ran them using the same settings as the gtx 970 to see what was different, and it was a consistent 60fps (monitor is only 60hz so I think that's all I could've got?) whereas on the 970 it was around 45 fps in games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and MGSV (I don't play many games on PC btw)I've since started increasing various graphic settings to see what I can improve whilst maintaining 60fps, but I haven't got too much into it yet; but higher res textures is the main improvement that more vram will bring.I haven't tried overclocking (can't remember if possible) yet as I'm already getting big enough improvements without needing to.The main thing I can add is, compared to my gtx 970, the fans running when the gpu hits similar temps are a lot lot quieter. And also it's using less power than the 970 too.So quieter, cheaper to run and better performance is a great thing in my book.
