I ordered Dusty Orchid Shimmer on a whim. I don’t usually spend $14.95 on lip color at this point in my life(I used to buy top of the line make up from department stores). I have to say this is a nice product! It’s worth the money because the color is great and flattering, it’s not sticky nor Does it disappear Immediately after you put it on. The color is buildable, but then it comes off more easily. It’s moisturizing and the color lasts if you don’t go crazy with it. There are several colors I’d love to try. But I think I’ll try this one out for longer than a couple of days before I invest in more. But if you feel like treating yourself to a nice moisturizing lip color, I say go for it with this product! I do use a lip liner with it, as with other, sheer Or moisturizing lip products because I’m 56 and my lip outline can use a little boost to keep it neat and keep the color in place. I used a neutral Sephora lip balm with it and it was fine. The color blended and didn’t look weird. It looked natural but finished in attractive way! I don’t like to include photos with my reviews, but if I was going to, this would be a product that I would take a selfie with (If I took selfies regularly and not just to make sure look OK and then delete the photo). I looked too much like my mom and my dad in selfies for my own comfort, even though I’m MUCH thinner than either of them! Too thin to feel comfortable with random photos of myself. Blah, blah, blah!My point here is that it’s a great product so far and if you want a nice product without going overboard, I highly recommend this. Even without trying it on, and only a photo of the color and some reviews to go on I took a chance and it really was worth it! Normally, I buy Burt’s Bees colored lip balm, but this lip color lasts longer. It doesn’t have the nice minty taste- In fact, it has no discernible taste at all, which I find unusual. No fragrance like Chanel products. No taste like Burt’s Bees etc. Just moisturizing color that stays in place, especially if you use Lip liner because you’re getting a little bit older or you just appreciate a very neat lip outline! 👄Thanks for taking the time to read this review and I hope it helps! Absolutely love this lip balm. Am an older woman who's lip outline is disappearing as I age. Also have an oral autoimmune disorder that causes my mouth and lips to sometimes have an allergic reaction to cosmetic lipsticks. This lip balm solved that problem and I can wear it comfortably without issue even during a flare up.Am a fair-skinned redhead and I bought 2 different colors: Vintage Mauve as the primary lip color and Dusty Orchid Shimmer to outline. The lip balm goes on very smoothly and provides great color coverage that lasts a long time. Love both colors and have received several compliments. A little pricey but well worth it. Great product!

The balm is okay. Color is nice and it goes on smooth. You do have to reapply often. My only complaint is that the cap does not stay on securely enough to carry in your purse or pocket. I had it in my purse and the cap came off. The mess was everywhere. I won't be buying again.

This Julep lip balm is the very first lipstick I’ve ever had that didn’t make my lips peel or crack.That alone makes it worth so much more to me.It’s really expensive for me, but its quality and functionality cannot be understated. It’s very smooth and is well pigmented..I definitely recommend this to anyone who suffers from dry cracked lips or lips that cause all other lipsticks to peel, flake or crack.I had no idea that something like this existed & now this is my go to! I will definitely be buying more and I will definitely be purchasing again from this seller.I couldn’t be more satisfied. As described and highly recommended.

For me it’s perfect. Not too much color. Lasts longer than most I’ve used. Keeps lips soft and hydrated. Just what I’ve been looking for.

I like the feel of this product on my lips; however, the color is darker than is shows and the lid easily comes off while in my makeup bag.
