For that pesky wall plate
We chose to double up our drywall on one wall to shim out bad framing and had the problem of a cable box wire outlet that just couldn't be reached with the wall plate. These were great. Have no idea what I'll do with the rest except wait for the next ten houses to need em. lol

Someone took the screws out of the wall plates
Needed to replace screws in half a dozen wall plates that no one put back after painting the walls. Very nice to have a bunch handy.

They look great in a freshly painted room
I measured my old ones at 1/2 inch, so ordered the correct length here. Switch plate screw heads are one of the things that I stopped noticing in my home after a while, but when I looked more closely, I realized many were chipped and shabby-looking and none looked as good as these. Replacing them helped make a newly painted and redecorated room look really crisp, clean and new again. Worth the small cost and effort. Certainly a lot cheaper than moving to a new home, which let's face it, is what our significant others are going to want sooner if we don't stay on top stuff like this as our homes get a bit older. Be sure to cover your screwdriver tip with masking tape to avoid chipping the new screws. And treat the box gently. Shaking these up could cause the screws to scratch each other and some of the paint to chip in the box.

screw head smaller than standard
These screws were purchased to refresh a home during a remodel. The color is nice white (I've purchased another brand of these that was NOT) and the threads are quality. However, the screw head is noticeably smaller than the screws I replaced and if you're super picky (like I am), you can see that the screw head doesn't completely fill the screw hole. Seems weird...

Excellent to have on-hand
While preparing my home for selling, I noticed that many of my light switch and outlet cover screws were peeling or otherwise unsightly. Rather than buy new covers, I just ordered new screws. So much easier and cheaper and the covers now look like new. I have plenty left over to use in the new house if those cover screws also look bad.

Good for Handyman
Great to have this available. I've looked at hardware stores and they only sell small packages of 6 for approx. $3ca.I work on home renovations and is much needed when doing light switches.Even though new plates come with them, but often there's always one that doesn't.Anyways, you can't find a large package of screws like this unless you go to an electrical supplier. Pricey

Needed extra long screws that home depot didn't carry
Works well for extra long screws needed on outlets in my kitchen. Home depot only carried up to 1" screws but I needed 1.25" to account for the thick backsplace on the outlets. This worked great!
