Exact Replacement for Filtrete 3US-PF01
You're reading these reviews to see if this two-pack of filters is really the bargain you're hoping it is, aren't you? You want to know that these filters are an exact replacement for the Filtrete 3US-PF01 you have under your sink because you don't want to pay Walmart's or Amazon's $25-30 price for a single filter that promises 6 months but really starts losing flow after 4-5 months, right? That's why I read these reviews. Well, fear not. These fit perfectly in place of my Filtrete 3US-PF01. I paid $31 for the two pack, so that's $10 off per filter on the name brand. And the flow rate? After the iiitial installation, I'm seeing a nearly identical flowrate on the filtered cold side to the unfiltered hot side. Installation took a whopping 10 seconds. Easily the simplest filter I have in my house. I use it on my bathroom sink. My kitchen sink uses a whirlpool cartridge in a housing which takes considerably more effort to change and always spills everywhere. This doesn't. A small hand towel under the mount catches all the drips. Water clarity is transparent. No adverse taste or visual sediment precipitated. I'd buy it again.
