Good for propane use, worth the money in general
I need the propane option and use that all the time. ( I roast green coffee beans). I have two other stoves, which do not work for this purpose. One is butane only and is too expensive. The second is a cheap version by gas one, like this. I do not recommend that stove for two reasons: it has a hose to connect to the propane instead of metal. The hose seems dangerous. Also it is rated at lower BTU because the burner has fewer holes and is cheaper construction. That makes it hard to control and wasteful. This one works very well for me with propane. Attaching the adapter is a little funky. There is a notch that has to match up, but once you get that, it feels safe. The burner has many more holes, giving much better flame control and better heat output.I do not recommend any other propane version, for safety reasons. No rubber hoses! This one costs more, but if you need the functionality, it is worth it. And just a note. For cold weather use, Propane is much better than butane because butane does not vaporize below 31 F. In other words if the cylinder gets a little below freezing, it will not work. This is not true for propane.

Very nice little stove
This stove is very nice. It works well as a dual fuel and is very easy to use propane or butane. I run my stove off of a 5 lb propane tank and attach it via a Mr. Heater propane hose. Since I am on the West Coast it is usually a little windy when I use it and it performs excellently. The burner is very good and responds well on low or high settings. It is easy to clean and the design is simple and well thought out. If you are looking for a excellent small dual fuel stove then look no further. I highly recommend this stove and give it 5 STARS.

Easy to use puts out plenty of heat
It gets plenty hot and im able to cook a meal for 4 on it the same as my normal front right burner. I haven't tried it in the 'elements' but on a normal not windy day it does well. Propane hook up is easy and it comes with the adapter for 1lb tanks. Ive only used 1 butane can and 1 propane 1lb bottle sofar.

Glad I Purchased the Stove!
The built quality was good and it is easy to clean under the burner tray that can be removed. I like the fact that the stove is dual fuel and can deliver 15,000 btu of heat. In addition, the stove's burner has an inner and outer flame. I was able to turn the flame down to a point where you could barely see the flame lit. After looking at You tube Videos and reading the literature on different portable stoves; the quality and the different aspects of the stove cause me believe that Gas One was the best brand. A good purchase for me!

Easy to use and LOTS of heat
Woke to a power outage this morning, and really didn’t mind as I have had this stove awhile and hadn’t used it yet.Grabbed an open can of butane and had it installed and lit in seconds. Having experience with the Other guys (magnetic attachment of cans), let me tell you that I quickly appreciated the security and simplicity of this mechanical lock!At very low gas flow, I had a nice, efficient, blue flame with very small, yellow tips. Cranked to high, I had flames that will easily cover the bottom of my largest pots if I want to do a crab boil outside. This flame was less efficient, but certainly adequate for my occasional needs. And it REALLY threw some heat!Strangely, the least efficient flame (the most yellow) came somewhere in the middle of the range. In spite of that, I quickly made a pot of coffee, then cooked sausage, and finally eggs. The can was nearly empty when I started, but I had just enough to finish all this. In my other stove, I do not think I could have even finished the coffee.Nice stove, plenty of heat for anything you might consider a one-burner task - and many two-burner tasks as well!

Solid stove
Finished our 2nd week camping with this stove and it worked great. Used 1lb propane canister and it worked well.I’m trying this out vs a 2 burner camp stove, no question the flame is smaller on this vs the blowtorch on the other. The stove proved I don’t need max flame to cook. It seems efficient, so gas use seemed less with this stove.Seems well constructed, easy to clean, a win. Achieved the goal to reduce the use of space with a good quality stove. Would recommend buying the windscreen, it fits nicely in the stoves case and does it’s job in windy conditions

Works as advertised.
On arrival:Much hotter than the store bought coleman stove, and dual fuel. Adapter works perfectly fine, didnt even read instructions and figured out it locks in a semi static position (theres some wiggle room before locking). Only thing, remember to retighten connector if removing and replacing propane canister, it gets loose when you lift it up. Will update if it doesnt work well outdoors or if it stops working.

Awesome stove.
You buy this stove because you need 15,000BTUs of heat. So I need to boil half a Dutch oven of canola oil to 375°. This burner will do that. you certainly want to use propane to do that. If you use a can of butane you’re gonna blow through half to three-quarter to cook four chicken breast. Which is not a problem because butane has less heat than liquid natural gas or better known as propane.
