I purchased some Colossal Labs monster protein powder the time before this purchase. It spiked my Blood Sugar to 200! Yes, I am sure.This product mixes much better, did not spike my blood sugar, and provides me the protein I need to build muscle after heavy lifting at a cost far more affordable than that of food, alone.I will say, however, that the instructions require 1 scoop for every 6 - 8 oz of water, milk, etc. I use water to cut the calories, and one scoop of powder for that much water yields a product with no taste and a completely undesirable thickness. I use 3 scoops for every 1.75 cups of water, then throw in about 9 ice cubes. This yields a much more tasty and thick shake.

I use this everyday for protein smoothies as my breakfast. The macros are solid, the vanilla taste is good and mixes with the fruits very well. The bag is huge and lasts a long time if you’re only using a scoop per day like me. Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard lives up to its name.

This protein powder is fantastic. It tastes great, which is impressive since it is a chocolate protein powder. I didn't look at the ingredients, but it has a decent amount of protein. It smells like chocolate protein powder, but it's nothing bad. It works great. I get in more protein; I mix it with milk in the Ninja Creami or a blender. It is one of the better protein powders and is excellent for the price since it tastes great and dissolves easily. Overall, 10/10 would recommend, and it isn't too messy.
