When buying baking soda or sodium bicarbonate, look how much you are paying per pound.. you’ll find that what it’s used for creates a different price. This is the best deal I’ve found so far.

As expected. Used these boxes to place around a new apartment that smelled from the previous tenant. Did a good job removing the smell.

I still think baking soda is AWESOME… especially for my kitty’s litter box. However, I bought a 12 pack case SIX MONTHS ago for $11.70 and now it costs $15.50!?! I am MAD AS HE** about the absurd increase in prices of EVERYTHING! I’ve had to stop buying anything that isn’t compulsory for my family. Groceries; cleaning supplies; health and beauty supplies. I can’t even afford to buy sparkling water or Britta filters. I drink tap water which thankfully isn’t bad where I live. If there’s heavy metals or toxins in it I guess I have to risk getting cancer. SOCIAL DARWINISM! It’s worse than it’s ever been!I bought my first case of baking soda because it was a much better deal, and I thought I’d have it into my 80’s (lol) but a year later I’m ordering my SECOND case because anything involving odor baking soda is what you need. Refrigerator, freezer, damp closets, moldy sponges, moldy smelling washing machines, clothes that have absorbed odors from smoke or food baking soda gets rid of it all. I’ll probably order my THIRD case even sooner because my son brought home to ADORABLE little kitties a few months ago and it’s THE BEST for keeping litter box odor under control. I bought the Arm & Hammer sifting litter box, which I find useful, so every day when I clean the litter box I put BS on the bottom of the box; which also keeps the clumps from sticking. I put some in the litter itself absorb odors and I keep the open box hidden nearby to help absorb odors. Kitties are WONDERFUL but litter box smells are HORRIBLE so I’m very happy I’ve found an affordable way to keep the smell away!

Baking soda has so many useful purposes! My mom used to get us to use it, to brush our teeth, if we ran out of tooth paste. I use it to clean baking dishes, because it cleans baked on food, without scratching! I also, use it to remove rust!
