These cups are beautiful, especially in their understated simplicity. They are thick and sturdy and as such I’m assured they will stand the test of time. They are just the right size. They are very smooth to the touch which I find satisfying. I don’t understand the people complaining about them being too hot to hold. I would ask them, “do you want to taste the tea or do you just desire a mouthful of seared flesh” You see the whole idea is to use a small 18 ounce tea pot with a lid that keeps the tea hot and then pour a small cupful where the tea can cool off to be able to taste it better. I would also add that small cups like this are really intended for use with green teas which are not steeped at as high of a temperature as black teas. I have used the them with my green long jing tea and milk oolong tea and have had no trouble with the cup being too hot to handle.

These are beautiful cups. A little on the smaller side, but not tiny. The logo engraved on the bottom looks very high quality. The glaze used wraps around the whole cup. Beautiful look and feel. Arrived nicely packaged.

Such beautiful and high quality cups. I use them for ceremonial cacao. The pink and green ones are the colors of the heart chakras.

Great cups and atheistically they are amazing. Weight and quality are top notch. I docked this one start though because you can not handle these at all for a few minutes after pouring fresh tea into the cup which is a little discouraging considering how nice they are are.

Nice shape, smooth surface inside and out. Pleasing color and size. Feeling of quality. Box and foam inside provided good protection.

I bought these to share oolong tea with my Chinese neighbor’s grandfather. We had great visits despite having to use Google translate to communicate! He’s gone back to China. But I still keep these lovely tea cups out on my shelf ready for his return.

Inspired by the sleek appearance of IKEA’s EKOLN toilet brush in a ceramic jar, I thought that small ceramic cups would look super sleek for our tiny bathroom shelf. And they do!These are the perfect size for Q-tips and flossers. I also use them for attractive storage for hair ties… then the last (not pictured) as a mouthwash or water cup. These are gorgeous and I enjoy the texture/feel of the cups. I believe these also fit in a medicine cabinet perfectly.And to be honest, I did want to try the slightly warmer gray, but this gray was most expedient.
