I had a spinal decompression for cause equina syndrome in 2016 and it has been getting increasingly difficult to put socks on. I got this sock aid just over a year ago and it is the best thing I've ever bought. I was recently diagnosed with lymphedema and have to wear pressure stockings. I wasn't sure that the sock aid would be strong enough to get the stockings on, but it was and made it much easier. So pleased that I'm buying a second sock aid as a spare.

I use it every day won’t be without it simple and effective

Waiting on a new hip and could not put my own sock on! Bought this and didn't really expect it to work to be honest as it looks too simple. But once I realised you have to put it on with the arc shape at the back, all is well and it works well. I do have to walk my foot forward using my toes to get my foot right in but it does work!

I’m waiting for a new hip so these things are essential.I bought this to replace an NHS one that was hard to use as I’m a size 13 and they don’t make these for a bigger foot. I thought the split front made sense and the grippy material was a good idea.Second time I used it it ripped.The strap nearly came off the fabric altogether so I started a refund. However as it had actually worked I decided to try and strengthen the stitching where the straps join the main fabric and in fact I over sewed the whole item to a high standard and now it works perfectly every time. It works very well.So if you have a bigger foot size you may need to do some work and strengthen the stitching especially around both pull straps, but if you do it’s a very helpful and effective aid.It needs more quality controll to highly recommend but it works once it’s modified.

Works well after a hip operation when hard to bend and also for elderly person

My husband is disabled and has a lot of trouble putting his socks on due to painful knees. With this simple device he now has no trouble putting by her a socks on. Just remember to keep your foot on the when you have put your foot in the device and pull. You will be amazed.

I am 65 years old and obese with COPD, I don't wear socks as it's a struggle to put them on, I was getting cold feet sleeping so I bought some down filled soft camping boots, if I thought these would be any easier to put on than socks I was wrong and I was tending not to bother wearing them. I bought this to see if it would help and my word this was everything I was hoping for It makes putting my sleeping boots on a breeze.

I was dubious but this is perfect for me. It is now sock wearing season again and my arthritis is no better. Reluctantly gave in to this support but wish i hadn't struggled in past. Now takes 10 seconds instead of 10 mins!
