Useful Versatile Space Saving Power Chord
My daughter recently expressed an interest in learning to play the piano so at seven years old I thought it was best to set her up with a keyboard before committing to purchasing a piano. We are a very musical family but with today's kids and their nearly non-existent attention spans you just never know just how long they will commit to anything. I found an old keyboard, a Casio LK-110, from the back of a storage closet in my basement studio and set her up with that. Unfortunately the chord was missing so when I saw this I ordered it for its versatility and it's "nice price" value. The best part about this power chord is that it is versatile. It will work with any instrument/pedal with a 9V 850mA configuration. That covers a lot of ground. Matching the milliamps with the suggested rating does make a difference particularly if you are recording on today's modern sensitive analog equipment so you should always take care to note the requirements of any instrument that you are powering up as it will make a difference in the purity of your overall sound. The construction of the power supply is standard. It has the thin electronic housing so it won't crowd any chain you've set up on an extension. While I prefer not to use extension strips sometimes you just have no alternative so having the thin head will never force you to skip every other outlet due to a larger housing's space requirement. The more streamlined design saves space and there are times when you just can't afford to lose every other outlet. The chord measures in at 6.5 feet (2M) allowing for plenty of leeway for those crowded stage areas with limited power sources. The performance was completely satisfactory. There were no hums or buzzing and the output signal was clean. I even tried it on one of my fuzz pedals with germanium transistors which can be notoriously sensitive and the signal was as uniform and clear as it should be. The keyboard I set it up on had not been played in many years so I was pleased that it came right on without any problems. To her delight my daughter started messing around with it immediately. This power supply is a great value as it's price point comes in at below average market value. There are many similar adapters out there that will cost you nearly twice as much making this a sound economic investment. That fact that it works on older models and is made to Boss guitar pedal standards is just a testament to the chord's versatility.I was pleased with what I ordered. It is priced fairly, the design is user friendly, and it performs without any signal noise or interruption. You get what you pay for and then some and the versatility of the design makes it a multi-purpose investment that is worth the price of admission. I recommend it for anyone who is looking to power up their gear at an honest price or just looking to strengthen the depth of their musical toolbox by having duplicates for those emergencies when you're on the road that happen to all of us at one time or another. I was satisfied with my order and I think that you will be too.

Great pedal power!
What's the criteria for great "pedal power"?1) Provides clean, consistent and quiet power... Yes, this adapter did all three of those. While in use, my pedals all performed their functions appropriately for hours, with no inconsistency in sound quality or pedal performance, and no additional background noise.2) The end that connects to 110 volts ("wall wart") is conveniently sized and there is no unsafe heating... This device did not heat up noticeably and was sized such that it did not block other outlets when connected.3) The low voltage cord is sufficiently powered, safe and of a convenient length... This device checked these boxes as well. The molded cord had no splits, shorts or breaks, and the low voltage plug connected securely to individual pedals (or a daisy chain). At 850 milliAmps, it had sufficient amperage to effectively power multiple pedals. The cord was ample in length, at 6 feet, compared to other adapters, minimizing the need to extend. One small criticism... with respect to durability/noise cancellation, the wire from the "wall wart" to the pedal connector was a bit lighter than other adapters I've used and it did not have any sort of visible "ferrous loop" for noise cancellation (integrated within the "wall wart"?). Although, the pedal did not add additional noise during testing, without a loop (or other noise cancelling circuit), there could be induction noise introduced to the signal path, depending on the gig environment. Over time the more "flimsy" wire may fatigue and be compromised, when subjected to foot traffic.
