Love this case! It feels super soft and grippy not slippery at all, which makes using my iPad way more comfortable. It’s really slim and lightweight too, so it doesn’t make my iPad feel bulky.The stand is a huge plus. I use it in all three positions depending on what I’m doing watching videos, typing, or sketching and it’s super stable. The Apple Pencil Pro fits perfectly and stays in place, no worries about it falling off.Also, I’ve dropped my iPad a couple of times (oops), and the case has held up great. Definitely gives solid protection without being chunky.Highly recommend if you want a good-looking case that actually works well!

Great case! Was perfect for putting my iPad into a zip portfolio, fit perfectly. It is very nicely made and of quality leather that looks great. I would definitely buy again if needed.

This is a great case for iPad mini and is just what I was looking for. I read a lot with my iPad mini and I dislike the cases with folding front covers since they are uncomfortable to hold. This one is very comfortable and doesn't slip from my hands, and can hold the iPad upright without a folding cover. Feels well built and has just the right amount of corner and camera protection without feeling too bulky. I'm also glad that this is compatible with the Apple Pencil Pro. The stand is sturdy and can be adjusted to hold the iPad mini in both portrait and landscape mode. The stand is also very slim so I barely notice it there when it's not in use.

Love this case. Crystal clear for now so you can see the color of your mini and the aluminum kick stand is well done and perfect. The hinge is somehow sticky so it stays at whatever angle you open it to. You can get the perfect angle either portrait or in landscape mode and it stays put. It also makes a nice little handle so you an easily hold and balance your mini. The kickstand is recessed into the clear surface of the case so it is almost completely flush with the surface Very clean and clever design.I love this case for my purposes. It’s clear, lightweight and functional. The edge protrudes just a hair beyond the front of my Mini so it protects the screen if you lay it down on it’s face. And it fits the Mini nicely. Just a hair loose, but the Mini stays in it perfectly.Great value. Can’t speak to how it preforms if you drop your Mini because so far, I have not dropped mine 👍🙂.

The (almost) perfect case for the iPad mini. We buy the mini for the size and weight convenience, which I use for one-handed reading, notes for teaching on the board, etc. Many cases for the mini weigh almost as much as the tablet itself, taking away the main selling point of this tablet. Not this one. It basically doesn't affect the weight, the nice prop in the back allows for setting on the table and is pretty balanced. The prop works in both orientations, though for angles above 45 degrees.The only negative that I didn't see mentioned in the reviews is that the placement of the prop makes it so that the mini rests on the side that charges your Apple Pencil, making it slightly awkward. You either have to take it off to use the prop, or place it awkwardly on the table with the pencil between the tablet and the table. See the attached image to see what I mean. The magnets are strong enough to keep the pen attached, but this can easily be solved by placing the attachment on the other side, not sure why this was chosen. A small patch to support the pencil while carrying around would also be a plus, but less of a concern: I travel frequently with this case and the pen does stay on while holding. It might fall off if you drop it though. As a case, here is an anecdote: I always watch stuff before falling asleep and my mini falls off the bed frequently. This case has protected it perfectly so far, no bumps or scratches.4/5 because of the pen awkwardness, would replace and give 5 stars immediately if the awkward pen issue was updated.

Instantly, out of the box, I am writing this review because I love this case. It allows me to do what I was hoping to do with my iPad mini, and that is treating it like I would a phone. I finally came across a thread on Reddit were so many people raved about this ESR case. I can see why. The texture is soft and pliable and feels warm, it’s really easy to grip and hold, I can access all the buttons, charge my pencil, work at different angles, and use one or both hands, which I couldn’t do with the cases with covers. Overall, a great design and value that maintains the slim profile offers protection (I haven’t dropped it yet, and I hope not to). This is a game changer for me, and I’m no longer planning to return my iPad to Apple.
