The cable is reasonably rigid. But beyond 3 meters, you lose the ability to direct and guide it. There is a control of the intensity of light in the box, at the outer end of the cable. After turning on the probe, you have to connect the phone / tablet to WiFi, SSID = F140 with password 12345678. From there, the App Mo View shows the image, which can be recorded (as photos or as a movie). There is a button in the App for the configuration, but I did not need to change it. Another minor problem is that you can not focus, but that is expected, for the price of the device. It was a fun experience to see the world hidden in the gutters and the false ceiling of the house.

So far I have tested this directly plugged into an Android phone and also an up to date Windows 10 PC. The camera worked perfect with both of them. On the phone I used an app called RealVisor endo. I'm not yet sure that it's the best app for the task but it had fewer ads than the first one I tried. On Windows 10 I used VLC and needed the included adapter from micro USB to full size. I charged up the WiFi battery pack but haven't used it yet. It seems to be the weak point on a lot of these cheap endoscopes so I was really happy that a direct USB connection works with this one.The accessories seem good enough. The right angle mirror should be useful for inspecting pipe walls though at 30 feet it will probably be hard to spin it around and get a 360 view. The magnet is pretty weak but I'm not sure what used I have at this point anyways.

The camera works well enough. It definitely takes some getting used to. I would suggest that once you get the camera, turn it on, find out which direction is up, then use a white paint marker to mark it. Once you find the correct orientation on the camera it is a little easier to use. As for the length, I bought the 33 footer...way too long. I tried running it down my vent when I got it to test it out. It get so far and gets tough to control. I would recommend sticking with a shorter one. I have used it in a few automotive applications already and I was able to see what I needed.As for the purchase...It arrived on time and as described. I have not needed to contact customer service. I would recommend this to a friend.

This little device works very well with my Android tablet! it has a clear picture (once I figured out the focal length) and works well in everything from cavity to just plain hidden areas. I would definitely recommend this product! Product support is also great if you have any issues...

says its waterproof, but 1st time I put it in 2ft of water, the lens clouded up where I couldn't see a thing.

This helped us save over $2,000 quoted by the plumber because we used this and found the holes ourselves and could fix them from there. This is a great tool! We used it from below the pipe in the crawlspace and also dropped it down from the roof.
