Superb bit of kit
What a great product. Sick of never finding the right length of spoke, I just make my own having bought a batch 300mm+ Spokes that I cut and roll.

New is not always good
I purchased one to these to replace an old one (lost) also made by Cyclo. The materials used are inferior to earlier models, the shaft is now a rod with bent end to make a rudimentary handle. The end that you turn is capped with a bit of plastic which pulls off when you extract the roller from the spoke, and when rolling a thread it is necessary to push the cutter into the spoke with the palm of your hand. None of these issues arise with older versions of this machine, google some pictures and see for yourself!! It works because the rolling head seems well made but in order to cut costs, the rest is barely fit for purpose. I am no novice and have been using a 1950's version for 30 years... Take my advice, buy a second hand one.
