Lovely but buy cautiously
Bear with me in this review, I bought this in hopes to have it as a gift for my elderly mother. I have put similar things together but they all have been Lego brand. I honestly don’t know if that’s why this seemed more difficult to put together (because it wasn’t Lego brand). It took me several days to complete because as I placed them in the base and put another piece on other things would fall off. I have adult fingers and had to get tweezers to aid the construction.This made me frustrated and I left off pieces as you can see in the photo. You can also see in the photo the completed project. Doesn’t seem empty without these pieces. The lights and the music box is great and my mom really liked this gift. I am afraid the pieces will fall off but time will tell.So I would purchase knowing you have plenty of time and lots of patience.

Beautiful but construction is exasperating
Ease of assembly:Be patient!! I can do most of these kits fairly quickly but this one took all my patience and about 5 hours. It looks beautiful, but the frustration came about because the blocks don’t secure fully. If you buy this, also buy some plastic glue because things keep falling off. My dog learned a whole new set of swear words with this project. I ended up using the glue so that I could maintain some sanity.
