One of the best and easiest upgrades you can do.
So, when I got my new K1 Max, I was ecstatic. From opening the box to my first benchy...less than 45 minutes total. Now...there was NOTHING wrong with the printer AT ALL. It's a phenomenal machine right out of the box. But...I wanted to make sure I had replacements "on hand" for the inevitable. That included a replacement hotend. I did order a replacement direct from Creality, but then started reading about MicroSwiss and all the other print fanatics out there with their reviews. So, I decided to bite the bullet and order one of those the K1 Max as well...and a hardened steel 0.4mm nozzle. When it came to replace my first hotend, I skipped the stock replacement and decided to throw this in first. And I have not - ever - been disappointed. This thing really is great! Is it better than stock? Maybe? I am not a "print-head fanatic" by any means, so I never got into EVERY single aspect of this. All I know is that since I've changed it out...I've only had issues that were on ME (or filament)...never with the hotend. It prints flawlessly...every single time. It's quick, maybe even quicker (higher flow) than stock, but I've never messed with max flow rate. All I know is I can throw anything at it and it just prints. I only print PLA and PLA-CF, but even then...no swapping, no clogs, no stringing...nothing!Now, I do have some fat fingers, so trying to get it installed - only because of the tiny pins on the printer itself - was just a bit tight, but installation was straight-forward and easy. And, just having the option to do a COLD swap - if and when needed - is just icing on the cake.I've purchased several other hardened steel nozzles just to have - another 0.4mm and a 0.2 for finer details - and just got the diamond tip from MicroSwiss itself...again...just to have. That original nozzle in the FlowTech hotend has nearly 1,000 hours on it now, and it's still as good as the first day I dropped it in.

Drop-in replacement. Excellent flow. Feeding new spools easier now.
The product is a straight drop-in. The install sheet and the linked video both does a great job of showing you what is needed. I had the newer K1M with a hotend that had the blob of death. Do yourself a favor and remove the glue properly without wiggling and applying force, you don't won't to break the connector off the board. And that's nothing to do with this kit, that's just cause Creality glues these connectors not thinking about future service needs.Immediately could feed my PLA+ from Elegoo and had it printing reliably again from the very next print. Already order more for my other K1Ms and Elegoo Neptune 4 Max's. Great job Microswiss!

Excellent hot end
Great hotend replacement for our k1 max. Besides the awesome print quality, it lets you take a 7mm nut driver to the nozzle without having to take the heatshroud off, or having a 2nd wrench holding the hotend in place. I was getting constant jams because my stock k1m hotend was unthreading itself. Even when tightened, it would never print as good as this microswiss hotend. Immediately increased print quality and less vertical banding. Was already tuned to the k1m pid controller, but do PID tune these hotends anyways.

Overhyped, and over rated
This is my 4th order. I dont know why I keep tricking myself into thinking its better than the stock hot end. These clog, and they clog consistently.Installation is easy, and I want to use diamond nozzles. Other than that, save your money, these hot ends are terrible.

Game Changer
I have a Creality K1C printer. I have owned ESUN TPE 83A filament since the spring of 2024 and never could get the printer to print it. I have 95A TPU that is was able to do, roughly a max of 60mm/s, and absolutely didn't use retraction, bc everytime at some time it would jam and the print would fail.I got this hotend and changed nothing in my settings and opened a model, loaded the TPE I have never printed, and FINALLY!! I can print this filament!!I cannot believe it was fixed by changing my hotend. Never would have thought it.I kept getting bugged about a xmas gift idea, so I told my fiance this hotend for a gift AND I had no idea why I would want it, everyone just says it's a great upgrade. All of my prints have been super smooth, same settings as I have always used, the key difference is I have not had one failed print yet. What am I printing? Check the picture out. It weighs about 3 pounds and used a full roll of filament, TEQ-Stone White TPU. It is capable of moving my 1979 Scorpion Whip 440 snowmobile at its full 80 mph down the road. It is called a drive sprocket, and they were originally nylon and would explode when they failed. It is the piece that actually drives the track under the snowmobile.I making a lot more than trinkets with my setup, and this hotend is VITAL to that success. Cannot praise this thing enough. Make sure you order hardened tips though, for the carbon fiber plastics. The fibers help inter-layer adhesion and help strengthen the piece a lot.One other thing is the stringing while printing TPU is soooo much less with this. Almost none, and I have changed no settings in the creality slicer with retraction and such, the only difference is the hotend, and yet the difference from the stringing during the prints is night and day.
