The texture is a bit sticky, I mean on a scale of 10 it's somewhere near 7. I like everything else about this lip balm, it's very moisturizing and looks good on pigmented lips. I'm just used to oil/wax based lip balms and this formula feels sticky to me. I'd still recommend trying this, the ingredients are good for the lips.
