Solid crimping tool
I wanted something other than pliers to crimp sleeves on fishing leaders so I reviewed all tools available on Amazon. After looking at several different Brands I realized that the majority are manufactured alike, different colors but basically all the same design. So, I purchased based on price, rather than reviews, and was impressed when the tool arrived. It is a solid, well built tool that does a great job crimping the sleeves on the wire fishing leaders I'm making for an upcoming Canadian fishing trip.

Luxury not
These sort of seemed like a luxury. What's wrong with pliers or those electrical crimpers. These work great and make a great crimp you don't have to worry about. Do very many crimps and you'll get carpal tunnel in a hurry. But less so with these.

Hey these are pretty good...
I had my doubts, but this really seems to be a pretty good quality pair of crimpers. Just the sizes I use out on the boat. The chrome keeps them from getting very rusty, and if I do break them they aren't real expensive.Thumbs up iWiss

dont buy! false information!!!
It advertised 12.2 inches long and sturdy,, dont buy them, they are not! And advertised it would do up to 2.2mm crimps,, I cant even get 2.2 in the jaws,, I'm mad because I had some last minute rigging to do before I fly out for A saltwater fishing trip and now I dont have time to order a good pair from somebody else who actually sends something as advertised! And now I have the hassle of trying to return falsely advertised tool,,, I went back through Amazon looking to see if they accidentally sent me a different model from same manufacturer,,, but the only only one I see is this model and a larger model that I guess I should have ordered instead,,,,but if this model would have been as described it would have did the 2.2 crimps on 300lb mono with no problem!!!So dont buy these!!! Buy another brand!

Great
A great mix of quality and low expense. Are use these for crimping fishing leaders and wire to hang very large pictures. No issues at all

Well worth the money
It's actually better quality than one I paid more than double the price for. Solid and heavy. Crimps much easier than the one I had. With moderate use it should last years.I haven't tried the cutter as yet but I did originally have a separate good set of cutters
