This cap does what it’s designed to do! Very sturdy, and the knurled ends helped my pliers grip better for a good seal. Glad I bought in a package. Always good to have this sort of thing around.

Creates a Great Seal
Creates a great seal. Don't try to use Teflon tape as it is not needed when you have the rubber washer. If you can find the ten-pack for under $10 then you got a good deal. Enjoy!

Good hose and hose bib caps.
Looks to be all brass. Well made. I've got them on my boiler and heating loop drain valves.

Good end cap.
I installed 2 on outside hoses and 4 on boiler heating drain valves. One of the valves had a very slight leak even when tightened and this brass cap sealed the leak. A good purchase for the price.

They work as advertised
Not much can be said about a brass hose cap other than they are sturdy enough to last and they fit as expected. The order arrived on time and was packed to not have any damage. If I needed more than the 10 I ordered I would order more without hesitation.

Should be the end cap on every Soaker hose
I have 15 very high quality soaker hoses - from 50 feet to 100 feet long. On nearly every hose over the past two years the plastic end cap they came with has split. I replaced them all with this very inexpensive brass end cap, and the problem is solved.
