Turkish Black Tea Duo by Caykur - Filiz & Caycicegi

Turkish tea has a distinctive fresh taste, enjoyed any time, all day long. And Caykur does measure up to a great cup, a good company. I see other reviewers confused about their orders, thinking they should see long elegant leaves. There are elegant expensive black tea varieties that are sold in beautiful leaf form, Turkish No. 118 tea is one which presents as elegant leaves. Yet most other Turkish black tea is cut and thus does not come as full leaves unless you purchase green.

Authentic Turkish tea, my Turkish friends were extremely surprised when I served it! They said it is too expensive In Türkiye to drink authentic Turkish tea, so they usually just drink Lipton & they were excited to drink this!

Wonderful flavor and freshness. Similar to what I had in a very good quality restaurant. Purchased an infuser and it's relatively easy to prepare.

This tea is delicious. You will be satisfied drinking these teas (as opposed to the ines in tea bags). The flavor is full and perfect. The quantity is abundant, as well. A good value for a wonderful black tea.

My dear friend is from Turkiye and introduced me to this tea. It is wonderful! Tea in the US is just....not great. Plus, it is practically impossible to find loose tea in stores, you need to go to some specialty tea shops. I hate tea with bags! I prefer it loose so that I can steep myself to my liking, a tea bag feels more like an emergency than a daily use. This is now my go-to for tea drinking here. The price is also not too bad for it being imported. I am pleased with this.

This tea, is so great, that you can't resist a thought of your next cup of tea (I know its gibberish, you will get there when you try it)NOTE: Prepare this tea right way. It's bad with warm water or cold teapot, be generous when adding tea. Make sure, that your teapot is warmed up, your water is super hot and as a cherry on the top, wash out this tea for about ten seconds before you brew it. After adding hot water, close the cap and put your teapot under the insulation cover for 12-15 minutes. I promise you, you will love every sip of it.PSTea should be consumed in first half an hour after brewed. Don't ruin the taste by adding sugar - it's an insult to the people who raised that tea.
