I posted a small video so you can hear how beautiful it sounds too. This goes beautifully on my altar. It was hard to decide on one and I definitely think I made the right choice. I'm so excited! It just came in a small brown cardboard box inside the amazon mailer and when I opened the bubble mailer I noticed the box the bell was in was opened, the bell was still inside the box (snug) so everything was fine. I wished it came in a nicer box for those who plan on gift giving but I'm really happy as this was for myself and not a gift.

The bell itself is beautiful. The clapper inside was held on by twisted larger gauge wire so it only worked if you rang it in a particular direction. I used some jump rings to make a proper chain to hold it better. The sound is excellent. My only problem is the one listed. Otherwise, it’s excellent for my altar.

bell rings true and sounds clear. the clacker seems to be held on by nothing more than a cheap bent paper clip, but if it breaks any time soon i am not all that worried about it, i'll just reattach it with some string.the bell itself is well crafted, no blemishes. constructed well.

This was slightly more expensive than I was willing to spend for an alter bell, but completely worth the price. It is well crafted and has a nice weight to it. Excellent sound!
