Duck Commander Commander-N-Chief Acrylic Duck Call

When I bought this call I saw most people loved it, but one guy rated it bad because it came in pieces in the box, and falls apart easily. Well...he was spot on. I was amazed that this beautiful call is shipped with a presentation box and felt bag, but the call is not actually in the bag or presentation box. It's just all thrown into the big cardboard shipping box to bang around during shipment. That said, the call sounds great, and since I'm a hunter and use my calls hard the shipment method didn't bother me, but it was kind of stupid. While this call sounds great, it is the stickiest call I have ever used. I actually put Rainex on the reeds to hopefully keep it from sticking. And we haven't had a cold winter. It sticks above freezing all the time. I have to take it apart and dry it out, and reassemble it several times a day. Also, it wants to fall apart easily. So, like I said, I'm a hunter so I fixed that problem with some electricians tape. Overall, it's a great sounding call and easy to blow, but it could never be the only call I take to the blind, but even with all the weird stuff it's still one of my top two just because it sounds so good when not stuck. Three stars might be generous because of all the nonsense. Just depends if you plan to use it hard or have it on a display.

I am Extremely disappointed in how this call arrived. The call had fallen apart. It was out of its little black case. It was out of its little black box. AND there was nothing else in the box to keep the call from bouncing around. I put the call back together and blew it and I have to say the call sounds good but the reed and guts pretty much fall out with the slightest movement. I don't see this call surviving any hunt with me. I fell like I will be walking around and the guts will just fall out without me knowing and I will be stuck with just a barrel. I am tempted to send this back in the same condition it was sent to me but I will at least make sure the call is put together and in its sheath and box.

We got this as a gift for my step brother. He is an avid hunter and absolutely loved it. It sounds great and looks beautiful!
