The foam is completely washable, making them great for multiple users. They fit perfectly on a variety of microphones, including SM58 stage mics.As others had commented, these arrive compacted flat in a small box. Simply rinsing them in warm water and letting them dry will not only minimize any odor, but also allow them to return to their normal round shape.These are permeable to air and water, so they do not make your microphones somehow waterproof.I definitely recommend these for most audio applications.

They're compressed pretty small for shipping, but bounce back quickly. Ive included a standard Bic lighter in some of the pictures for a size comparison. Within 10 mins they puff back up to full fize or close to it. Fits well on the mic, very snug, but didnt rip or tear at all as I pulled it off and back on a few times.The sound is definitely improved, plosives are not a problem anymore for me. If you get a "dead cat" or furry windscreen to put over this it works even better than either product alone at removing some of those unwanted sounds your mouth makes when speaking in an indoor environment. Getting 5 in a pack for this price is great deal, will last me forever.Oddly the smell is like a nice faint lavender smell, not enough to smell unless you put it against your nose and take a big inhale. Way better than most chemical smells from this sort of foam.

I was a little worried that it would not fit. Come to find out it fit like a glove. I slid them on thinking it was gonna rip, but it didn’t. I’m very happy With this purchase. I bought the pack of five so I have three left to use to replace if ever needed.

These mic covers are thick, soft, and do a great job blocking out breath noise and light wind. I’ve been using them on my wireless mics and they fit snugly without slipping off. The foam feels durable, not the kind that rips easily. I also like how they help reduce that popping sound when speaking close to the mic. Just a heads-up—like most foam, they can catch a little dust or lint over time, but nothing a quick wipe won’t fix.

Nothing is worse than a naked mic that is popping everytime someone tries to speak. This is a cheap and easy fix.

Great Item. Here it is almost 7 years later and I'm about to re-order them and they are LESS thank I paid then. I dare say, yeah, get this lol.
