Worked well for me.
These are before, during and after photos of pool filters. The pool is surrounded by oak trees. During April and May they drop a lot of leaves and pollen into the pool. The filters get very dirty.I change filters every 4-6 months. I keep two sets of filters and clean them when changing them out.The filters in these photos are on their second rotation and will be replaced after their next use. They had been pressure washed before this photo. They don't look perfect, but they look a lot better in this photo than they did when I took them out. I knew they needed more cleaning, so I then put them in a 55-gallon drum of water and two 1-pound bottles of Spa Depot Power Soak. (Was a guess on the water to powder ration)The second photo was taken the next morning after soaking overnight. I was surprised at how dirty the water was and how well the Power Soak worked!I pressure washed them again. There they are in the last photo. They don't look new, but they are cleaner than just power washing can get them, and they will work one more time and that cost less than replacing them. I can recommend Spa Depot Power Soak!

Amazing!
This is the best filter cleaner I have ever used and all I buy now! The filters come out almost snow white, like brand new! Note that you shouldn’t let the dirty filter dry before cleaning with this- it didn’t get snow white but still noticeably cleaner. Its amazing (and disgusting😅) how dirty the water is the next day! I let it soak 24 hours. Excellent stuff!👍🏻

Pool Filter Deep Cleaner
Product is a value with respect to price and performance. It is much lower priced than some other products, but the hazardous acid wash products (mix of Muriatic Acid and Perchloric Acid) work much better. The product ingredients and performance are similar to Oxy cleaning products. The manufacturer needs to improve the directions to more precisely describe the suggested concentration of product. "a half-cup in a bucket of water" is not useful (is the bucket assumed to be 1 gallon? 5 gallon? 30 gallon? I use a third of a 90 gallon trash can - so how much do I need for 30 gallons? I wound up using a full 1-pound bottle to about 30 gallons of water (about 3 cups, or 6 half-cups per 5 gallons).I have a 15K gallon pool that uses four larger Hayward filters. I hose-rinse them quarterly, and annually I swap out with a second set for a week-long soak in a 55 gallon trash can to deep-clean and dissolve embedded grease and oil organics. I've previously used the hazardous acid products that worked very well, but also dissolved my concrete driveway when I dumped out the used product - that worked very well to clean and bleach the filters. The Oxy product costs less, worked about 70% as well (not as bright, and I could feel oil left on the rubber ends), and didn't etch my concrete drive when I dumped it out.

The Best hot tub filter cleaner available
Works amazing with hot water. Very good product. Use two capfuls in 2.5 gallon bucket with hot water. Let soak for a day or overnight. Rinse and use a brush if needed to get pine needles out of filter.

This stuff is great.
I use hot water which is recommended and let it soak. I always forget to take it out in 1hr. But once it's done soaking just rinse it real good and you have a like new filter. Saves on buying new filters.

Not such a deep cleanser
This product didn't clean my filters any better than the old method of cleaning using the water hose.

Worth the little bit of mixing required!
I don’t normally write reviews but this product is worth taking a minute to share my experiences. I had previously been using the filter cleaner that was sold at my pool store (liquid, pour in the bucket with some water and… well you know the rest). I ran out and was too lazy to swing by the store and thought I’d check out what was available on Amazon. I saw the granular product and was intrigued that you could get multiple uses from a bottle and it was much cheaper, overall. Well, needless to say, this works MUCH better than the previous product than I was using. As soon as I put the filter in the bucket of hot water (mixed according to the direction),I was astounded at the crud that came out of the filter. I have never, EVER seen this amount of junk get released with a cleaning! I’m both horrified and impressed. I will never go back to my old product again. Give it a try. You won’t be sorry.
