There is latency introduced. Use Casio's app to connect the Midi!
When I first got the dongle I wasn't able to connect the Midi to my Ipad 9th gen and only sound came through. After searching online for an answer I found that the solution was to download Casio's app called "music space" to connect the Midi and it worked. The only thing that I found not to my liking was the latency introduced compared to the cabled connection hence the 3 stars. Don't get me wrong you can totally play but the sound coming through the Ipad will not be in sync to the notes you play if you are using an app like simply piano to learn.

Way more limited than advertised
I bought this expecting to be able to output CT-S1 keyboard audio to Bluetooth headphones and use Bluetooth MIDI with the Simply Piano app on Android. It does neither of those things. It can be used to connect to the Casio Music Space app, but it's more hassle than using a cable because you have to manually connect via phone app every time.I don't really see any benefit in buying or trying to use this.

It just works
IOS is excellent for Bluetooth over Midi. I plugged this device into my Casio CDP-S360 and the midi apps on my iPad found it immediately. It works fine with no dropouts. Excellent product, and good value from Amazon. It's just a shame that Casio didn't include one with the piano when I purchased that.
