Q: How long does it take to brew?

Well if you were planning to buy two kits, I would agree with Michael Rydzinski that the purchase of 750 ML of Hendricks would be a lot more satisfying. As a gag gift for a friend this might be OK. Don't expect good gin though.

Q: What is the proof for completed product?

The kit requires the purchaser to provide his or her own vodka, from which the gin is made. Therefore, the proof of the gin is whole dependent on the proof of the vodka used as its base.

Q: Not sure when to order this. Do the contents of the kit expire?

There is no expiration date for the contents.

Q: I accidentally added the botanical blend at the same time as the juniper berries. Has anyone done this? Does it still turn out?

This should not affect the blend. The infusion time for this kit is so short in either case, thst you will have no trouble with adding the botanicals in at the beginning.
