A nice little step stool and would be fine for how most people would use it. I wanted to use it to help me access the truck bed toolbox in my F350 dually truck. It was just the right height to let me lean in and retrieve whatever I needed from the side of the truck without the need to climb in the bed itself. On solid ground it does work fine but in loose rocks of soft dirt the feet are quick to sink in the ground. I wish it had bigger feet for my purposes but then again I was probably not the average user
