this brand is a great option for compostable (note better than recyclable). good size, sturdy, solid utensils, not cheap like many others.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I really like these! Sturdy enough, smooth, not too small. My only problem was that nobody at the party understood that they were compostable. Everyone thought they were plastic even though I had a sign that said all table ware was compostable.

This plastic fork does the job it also doesn’t break when using and it is environmentally friendly. We would purchase this again.

As I'm trying to eliminate all the petroleum based plastics I use that I can (microplastics be gone!), I decided to try these corn-based "plastic" spoons.So far, I've been very pleased. They're just as sturdy (if not more so) as the plastic spoons I used to use plus are aesthetically pleasing and a good size. All in all, zero complaints... plus the added benefit of reducing the petroleum based plastics in my life.These are made from corn -- arenewable bioplastic plant-based material.

I didn't give these 5 stars because they are just a little bit on the flimsy side. So, their sturdiness could use a little work.BUT I love that they are compostable which has made it so we have purchased this regularly.No, they do not hold up to hard pressure (imagine pushing down with a fork on a tough piece of meat) but for soups, regular cooked veggies, etc they work flawlessly.Considering the fact that these provide relief for landfills, I think they are great. It's a product that is well on it's way to doing wonderful things and I expect it to just keep getting better and better.

Gets the job done and I feel like I'm being a bit more green

I’ve tried most model plastic spoons and this is the best. Most of the bigger companies like Dixie have completely changed their teaspoon shape over the years and morphed into an unusual shape design. These Greenworks are the best. Highly recommended.
