Quality Scientific Tool
This is a great funnel, designed to work with filtration paper of your preferred micron size. Cleaning is important, and the underside of the flat portion of the funnel can’t be easily inspected. This concern applies to any Büchner funnel, and simply requires some effort to run a soft, flexible brush up the funnel tip to clean that surface and the space beneath.RECOMMENDED

There are better, easier to clean funnels. However, this is a very nice piece and still gets the job done!

If you are using this for experimental purposes and are able to cleanse it thoroughly, then this may be fine; but if you are using this for any kind of production where contaminants are a concern, then you may want to avoid this seller. The funnel arrived with a distinctly foul bacterial odor.
