Zests well. I appreciate the cover-snaps on and off easily. Zester is sturdy, comfortable and easy to use and cleans well and I zest frequently!

This is the easiest to use, and the easiest to clean! And you don't tend to scrap your skin at all when trying to get citrus zest. It's fast and efficient! I love it!Update: I use this all the time - more than I use to zest because of it's ease of use. You can get so much more done in a short period of time; the results are much finer than my old little hard to use zester, and the taste is so much sweeter as you don't go deep into the peel, it's really all sweet surface citrus peel. I'm saving peels now for recipes, for freeze dried, for dried, to add to teas, etc. anything I can think of. It's a great, handy, efficient tool.

Top of the line at a great price. This little baby is sharp so grates easily! It holds the zest in the curved top so all you have to do is turn it over and tap it on the bowl or onto a cutting board. Easy peasy! It also has a rubber piece at the end so it stays in place when grating on a cutting board. I have arthritis in my hands but I have no trouble using this zester. Love love love it!

How did I live without this and even think for a nanosecond that I could get zest off of citrus?? What a little miracle of zesting perfection this is. It feels like you're running the lemon (or lime) with hardly any pressure but the color is gone from the lemon - but just the zest - all the pith is intact and you have PERFECT zest on the other side of zester. SO EASY. SO PERFECT. And I promise I really tested it: I zested five lemons to make lemon bars (which were delicious by the way) and FELL IN LOVE with this. What a joy to use! And easy to clean as well.

This is a nice grater; however, it is a very fine grate. I would like just a bit larger grate and perhaps a bit shorter handle.

This thing is wicked sharp and makes short work of citrus zest and parmesan cheese alike. Haven't used it on any root vegetables yet. It comes with a nice little cover to keep it from destroying your hand when you reach into the drawer.

I don't like to accumulate stuff, but this does such a good job! I use a box grater for many things, but this one is easier and neater for the fine grated items. I use for Parmesan cheese and nutmeg.
