The Canon Dock if you have a Canon camera. Check that the Dock will work with the Sigma lens you have. If its the 150 - 600 Contemporary or Sport you have it will work.

Q: Why do I need to update the firmware on a new lens

In truth you may never need to do this BUT if you change your camera body or want to modify the OS button effect on the lens then this will let you do it. NB it only works with certain Sigma lenses (C and S, and probably A, versions only I think). Not expensive but probably an item a camera club should have in their kit.
