Very well thought out cage, easy assembly, excellent overall value
My wife wanted a multifunction trainer and I wanted a cage, this has the best of both at an amazing price. We are 1 month in and this equipment is outstanding, loving it, absolutely worth it, using it every day. We had a machine for our home gym (Hoist V3) but really needed something for free weight barbell exercises and a dual-pulley multifunction trainer. This fits the bill perfectly. We got the red/black version and it looks great. Very well thought out piece of equipment. Some older similar products on Amazon had issues that this one seems to address. There are a lot of holes for adjusting the accessories/pullies, didn’t have a problem with finding a setting for any exercise that works for either of us.Assembly was a breeze, they couldn’t have made it easier. All bolts/nuts/washer are organized by the order you need them in the instructions. All bolts/nuts were perfectly sized and it’s easy to visually inspect to know if anything is under/over tightened, or if anything is coming loose. We used our own ratchet wrench, but just a warning, don’t overtighten! You can easily end up warping some of the metal. However, since the bolts are almost all the same length, you can visually inspect to see if one of the bolts has been over tightened relative to the others. During assembly we didn’t tighten any of the bolts until the very end, and everything fit together perfectly. The cage is incredibly sturdy, handles 225 lb bench press and squats without a fuss. Haven't gone heavier than that one ours. The frame is not too heavy. You can move it around fully assembled (empty without weight) without too much effort (but when you add the weights back it is too heavy to move around during standard lifting use). We installed this on top of soft rubber flooring tiles in our garage.I’ll mention some areas where it could be improved. The foot pedals for rowing are not great, you don’t get much of a stretch when doing rows. The 360 landmine fits awkwardly. Both sometimes get in the way. We have other equipment for back exercises so we ended up removing those.Compared to commercial gym equipment (and to our Hoist V3), the accessories… pull down bar, row bar, attachment clips… all feel kind of lightweight and cheap. They do their job, but we ended up upgrading these. There seems to be an little internal resistance in the cables machine, not exactly sure why but we can’t get the mechanism to go up/down smoothly. Less noticeable with more weight… not sure if it’s an alignment issue with the main rods or friction in the weight holder or just resistance in the rollers, we tried lubricating the rods and adjusted the bolts for the rods, but we can’t get that feeling of friction to go away. Some reviewers had said the cables are very smooth, that’s not the case for ours (not buttery smooth), so maybe our hardware has some sort of issue. Not a huge problem, but compared to our Hoist V3 (which is buttery smooth), you do feel some resistance.I really wish there was an option for a weight tree/bar holder on both sides of the unit, and also wish the weight tree had a second set of pegs on the weight stack. The weight tree does not enough space for all your weights. I had to purchase a stand alone weight tree for the other side of the unit with more pegs.So overall an amazing product, we are loving it, a great addition to our garage gym and we are using it every day. Highly recommend if you are looking for a multifunction dual-pulley trainer and a workout cage and you don’t have the space or budget for both.

Great buy
I usually dont review but thought I should for anyone else looking for a budget homegym. I was very skeptical prior to ordering this because some comments were great while others were bad but ultimately decided on buying it after reading and watching reviewsIf you're thinking of getting it, get it. It took me about 2 hours to assemble it by myself, mostly using the pictures and not reading the confusing text. Its is not too difficult to assemble but parts of the assembly are tricky (for example, while connecting the top back corner brackets; i thought they shipped me brackets that misaligned with screw holes but it turns out i had to orient it a certain way to align properly). I was missing one #4 screw but i blame shipping and handling for it.The build quality is great, although some parts were dinged and some chipped paint but again this is because of shipping. The price is beyond excellent for the quality. It is study but i noticed that wobbleness largely depends of how leveled your floor is. I didn't install the barbell holder because the location didn't make sense and the landmine because i wouldn't use it and didn't want any obstruction in my small path.Overrall, this was a great purchase and makes a great addition to my home gym. It is very functional and the dimensions were excellent for my small garage.

Affordably priced rack that will keep you safe and give you a few extras.
For the price I paid, this power rack is great quality. The assembly was enjoyable. The accessories and equipment are what I remember needing for a decent workout at my high school gym - and then more. The whole power rack is pretty solid. I don't doubt it can hold the 300 to 500 lbs. that I need it to, since I am just getting back into lifting. I do think there could be more stability side-to-side, but it is nothing I am worried about. The metal is powder-coated and some coating was missing around the edges of a couple pieces due to shipping.Assembling the power rack took me most of a day, but I am not practiced at assembling things. And it was somewhat enjoyable even for a novice because the instructions are clear and divided clearly by steps, with the hardware for each step plainly labeled so there is no guessing which bolts you need to grab. It comes with two flat crescent wrench tools which are great if you don't have tools of your own. I recommend a drill or driver with a 17mm socket to speed things up, just don't overtighten because the metal will start to bend.I love the fact that the kit I bought came with a lat-pulldown bar, a smaller flat bar, tricep pushdown rope attachment, and two D-handles with an ankle strap for flies and rows. It even came with dip handles for added tricep work or core workouts. I did not expect (probably because I wasn't shopping for it) a landmine attachment or a barbell holder. All of the extras were appreciated and make me glad I purchased this power rack. Here is my main criticism and my solution for it, so far. Upon trying out the barbell squat, I went to get under the bar and found myself almost touching the cable pulley assembly with my nose. I could get the bar without touching my nose, but I felt like it was too close. So for now, I switched the J-hooks to the rear bar and I will do squats facing backwards. The second criticism I have is that all of the accessories hanging from the hooks around the outside of the cage get in the way of my barbell. I will be removing most of the hooks and accessories to put them either on my wall or in a container on the floor. To sum it up, I simply wanted a power rack to perform squats and bench press safely without a spotter. I am definitely satisfied it will fulfill my purposes. And now I have the added core, arm, and back workout flexibility I wouldn't normally get with a home gym setup.
