Fast working, just not sure of how long lasting because I kind of forget about it. I have lower lumbar strain since 1979 accident. Of a couple brands just recently tried, this Aspercreme I noticed dulled the ache/pain the quickest. I don't feel really any heat at all, just pain relief. Roll-ons are generally more expensive but the ease of putting it on, not washing your hands more often that already do, is worth something. Glad after many years I tried them again.

This is very easy to use because it is a roll on and you don't have to touch the creme. I like the lavender scented one the best, It works as good as the unscented but the lavender scent is a plus because it is pleasant and calming. For me, this needs to be used once or twice a day to work. Sadly, my foot pain never goes away unless I use this stuff at least once a day. It does not totally eliminate the pain but it helps. A little goes a long way and the bottle lasts me a long time.

Roller works good. Has a small odor and is sticky when applying, but when it dries it's odorless and not sticky at all.

I’m a believer now. I tried many other things but this works and works far longer than others I’ve tried. Additionally the lavender oil scent is very calming. I’m very pleased with this product.

So, my husband swears by this stuff. He rubs it on his sore muscles and acts like it’s some miracle. And I'm just sitting here thinking, “How does this stuff even work? Does it really go to the muscle, or is this just some elaborate placebo effect?” Like, I don't know, maybe I missed the day in anatomy class where we learned about the magical healing powers of topical creams. I love this cream roll on. It works great and smell good. It does not stink like menthol. It smells fresh. I use it almost everyday while sitting at my desk at work and have never had anyone ask about a smell.
